Announcement Court Adopts Amendment to Local Rule of Practice 31 Registration of a Foreign Decree of Support for Enforcement and/or Modification under the Uniform Family Support Act (UIFSA), R.C. 3115.01-3115.59. The rule was modified to clarify that registration of a foreign support order or health care order does not necessarily vest the court with jurisdiction to enforce or modify the order. It also clarifies that a petition to register a foreign child custody order must be filed as a separate action. To review the complete adoption of Local Rule 31, please click here.
