Security

Upon entering the Courthouse, all visitors must pass through security screening. This means that all visitors, including attorneys, parties, etc., must pass through a metal detector. All bags, purses, briefcases, jackets, etc. must pass through an X-Ray scan.

No one is allowed to bring firearms into the Courthouse. This even applies to persons who have a concealed carry permit. Any other items that may be considered a weapon are also prohibited. This includes but is not limited to knives, pocket knives, knitting needles, letter openers, and box cutters.
