LOCAL RULE 28 AMENDED: Effective May 1, 2014 the Court has amended Local Rule 28 to add a section regarding electronic signatures. See Local Rule 28
The Court has adopted a new Affidavit of Military Service. All litigants must submit this affidavit prior to the final hearing on any uncontested matter including the actual divorce or any proceeding in which the Defendant or non-moving party has failed to make an appearance in that particular proceeding. Federal law requires this affidavit to be filed prior to any Judgment being rendered on the merits.
The Cuyahoga County Domestic Relations Court and the Clerk of Courts are pleased to announce that images of documents on the Clerk's website will be available to attorneys of record on Domestic Relations cases beginning Friday, October 25, 2013. To access the images, attorneys must register for e-filing at the Clerk of Courts website http://coc.cuyahogacounty.us/en-US/efiling.aspx
