Click here to watch a video from this year’s New Magistrate Orientation featuring Judge Diane M. Palos. The training is presented by the Supreme Court of Ohio Judicial College. Below is an excerpt of an article in Court News Ohio. Transitioning from the bar to the bench can be challenging, which is why nearly 40 new magistrates attended a three-day orientation course. Judge Palos is the Chair of the Supreme Court of Ohio Judicial College Board of Trustees and a frequent presenter at Judicial College Education, including New Magistrate Orientation. When interviewed, Judge Palos said “[I]t’s really important that we commit to our people … to educate them."

NOTICE:  Effective February 15, 2016 the southeast (Lakeside Ave.) entrance/exit ramp to the Huntington Park Garage (HPG) located behind the Cuyahoga County Courthouse will be closed for renovation.  The southwest (Lakeside Ave.) entrance/exit will close on February 22, 2016.  These closures will be in effect until September 30, 2016. The entrance/exit off W. 3rd St. is the only entrance/exit that will remain open.  In addition, the surface lot above the HPG will be completely closed.  Daily parking will be very limited.
