The Navigation Services Help Center Department provides information about court procedures and supplies court forms to self-represented persons. The department helps to complete, notarize and file court documents and answer questions about court documents and court proceedings. Navigation Specialists review and approve journal entries to be filed by self-represented persons to ensure they are sufficient in form with all necessary documents attached. Workspace also is provided to attorneys to prepare court forms and calculate child support at computer workstations provided by the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.
The department also processes all requests from the Cuyahoga Job and Family Services-Office of Child Support Services (CJFS-OCSS) for modification, lump sum, termination and enforcement of support, coordinates genetic testing, and functions as liaison to the CJFS-OCSS. The department monitors compliance with court orders to perform community service, initiates and tracks the issuance of arrest warrants through sentencing and release, and interfaces with the Cuyahoga County Sheriff.
The Navigation Services Help Center Department is located on the first floor in Room 114.
