Francine “Frankie” Goldberg is a graduate of The Ohio State University (cum laude) and Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and served as an Assistant Cuyahoga County Prosecuting Attorney for 23 years. Judge Goldberg has a proven record of protecting families and children. She successfully advocated for victims’ rights as a member of the office’s Major Trial Unit, the Director of the Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC), and in numerous other roles (Director of Special Projects; Cold Case Task Force). Judge Goldberg participated in over 100 trials, including several successful Aggravated Murder cases.  In addition, Judge Goldberg successfully prosecuted high profile elder exploitation crimes including financial, physical, and sexual abuse. Judge Goldberg was elected to the Domestic Relations Court in November 2014.

Goldberg served as a three-term Councilwoman (including four years as Vice Mayor) in University Heights. She received the University Heights Public Servant of the Year Award in 2013. Goldberg was also inducted into the Beachwood High School Gallery of Success in 2009. Goldberg’s greatest experience and accomplishment has been raising four children, together with her husband, David.
